From time to time it becomes necessary to share our negative experiences that occur while working in this industry of television and film production. So this public advisory is essential to help alert other crews.
Jared Manders, DP, Cleveland, Ohio writes the following:
“If you should come across Pathway Productions based out of Indianapolis, Indiana, be aware that this company has defaulted on payment for work completed successfully. All efforts to collect payment were ignored over a period approaching one year. In fact proper efforts to collect on this debt were met with profanity. To hear a voice mail left by Tim Meyer, the Comptroller of Pathway Productions, spouting invective go below".
Our industry, especially, is based on trust. For a company to treat a freelance crew with such contemptuousness is reckless. It affects the entire industry.

UPDATE Note: Pathway paid the invoice on the last day of the year. Slightly over 1 year after the job.
